Hippophae rhamnoides

The Mount Siguniang scenic area and its surrounding areas are abundant with hippophae rhamnoides rich in a variety of vitamins, especially the high content of vitamin C. Chinese hippophae rhamnoides, almost with two types of orange-yellow and bisque fruit, is a deciduous shrub or small tree, 1-5 meters high, up to 18 meters in damp area. Young leaves are densely scaly or stellate hairy, while old branches are grayish brown, spiny and stout. A single leaf is nearly opposite, lanceolate or oblong - lanceolate, 2-7.5cm in length and 0.2-1 in width. The beverage processed with hippophae rhamnoides fruit has high nutritional value. It can enhance the heart function, prevent scurvy and formation of carcinogen methyl nitrosamine, relieve fatigue and refresh the body. The processed hippophae rhamnoides fruit juice contains vitamin C500-1500mg/100g, which is 2.3 times as much as the kiwifruit and 20 times as much as the hawthorn. It is praised as "the third generation fruit", "the king of vitamins" and "one of the most promising health care products in the 21st century" by the scientific community.
